In Quiet Freedom, Lars mentions to Amanda that there is a person who can swim amongst icebergs. In this section we are going to learn about people who have abilities which many might consider extra-ordinary. Many of these videos have been on Youtube for a long time, with relatively few views compared to others. Perhaps we are so busy congratulating ourselves over something else, that we don't notice what some of these people have done, and miss their significance.
Can reading a fiction book, Quiet Freedom, help you activate hidden abilities inside all of us?
Can conquering the darkness inside you and being the light, reveal hidden abilities latent inside all of us?
What if we stopped watching fantasy movies about superheroes, and started looking within, what might we find? What if we stopped elevating various individuals in the past / present / future as heroes and started looking within and learning from others? What if we started asking A LOT more questions?
Watching all the clips above would take you 2.5 hours. Some of them are just clips / trailers for full documentaries, but they will get you thinking. Do you have the courage to challenge every belief in you? Who has the courage?

There are many more videos we would like to show you, but they weren't uploaded to Youtube by their creators. Here is a list of the stories that you can search for on your own. Search term in BOLD.
1) Rudiger Gamm - another human calculator like Scott Flansburg. Claims to be able to recite pi to 5,000 digits. Also featured on a documentary titled Memory Masters.
2) Boy with Divine Powers - Discovery Channel documentary. Abilities would include cold tolerance, heat generation, inedia (not eating for prolonged periods), sitting in one place for days, months at a time. "Super meditation." You might enjoy this GQ Magazine article. Will add some non Discovery Channel videos in the future. This is a strange story for the uninitiated.
3) Tarahumara Born to Run - Discovery Channel mini-documentary, 10 minutes. Running for hundreds of miles at a time, barefoot?
4) tummo meditation cold towel - History Channel video clip. Clip from documentary showing Buddhist monks being studied. They demonstrate using their meditation technique that they can raise their internal body temperature to dry off cold towels in a very cold room.
5) Master Zhou - various clips showing heat power projection.
Stan Lee's Superhumans Season 1, 2, & 3 - This is a treasure trove of History Channel research that has uncovered people with extraordinary abilities. Some are just unexplainable. Some aren't so much native body abilities but the merging of current technology with their own physical skill set. Some examples we thought weren't that interesting. Other we thought were amazing. You can buy these DVDs for dirt cheap on Amazon. Happy watching!
If you expand the range of abilities observed to include savants, you could research - Daniel Tammet. You may find a video of him reciting pi to 20,000 digits, among other feats. We know so little, yet many scientists and individuals alike, act like we know pretty much everything there is to know. Just history repeating itself, or rather dark energy.
Some videos we haven't had time to watch but which may be insightful include:
UltraMarathon Man: 50 Marathons • 50 States • 50 Days -- showcases the abilities of Dean Karnazes. He was profiled in a Stan Lee Superhumans episode and there was a discussion about his body's ability to recover faster and not generate (as much) lactic acid. Hey, if he has this ability, why doesn't everyone? Also Born to Run: The Kenyan Secrets.
The image to the left perfectly illustrates two different types of thinking. In general, women use one style and men use the other more. Of course, it isn't quite as clear cut as that. Some men and women are a combination or just the opposite more. We all are both to some degree, it is just that we tend to overemphasize one way or the other at times.
Women tend to use intuition and experience more. Men tend to use the more logical side. Which is why the image was made as such with a female / male heads.
Some people in the LOGIC camp discount anything as possible if it can't be explained with THEIR logic framework. Some people in the INTUITION camp accept too easily things and people that aren't what they seem. Rather than consider other viewpoints more readily, we may cling too strongly to our belief/assumption.
As you watch these videos, you may start to seriously question your belief system. Well, assuming you have read the book and/or other parts of this website you already know that there are a lot of lies today and throughout history. Maybe they aren't even lies, just misunderstandings that snowballed into something else.
In general, people were more truthful in the past, as there was less dark energy. But being more truthful, is not the same as being truthful.
So, the reckoning is that in certain religions there are stories of miraculous abilities to prove some kind of divinity. Yet, here on this one webpage we have videos of people doing seemingly miraculous things as well with their own bodies, no external technology. Are they claiming any divinity? Reconciling one's belief system with a new "reality" will have to take place - if you want to be honest with your self from our perspective.
Even if there is a claim of some religious attribution or reference to a religion / belief system of some sort, the abilities come from people with different backgrounds. Different races.
Another segment of the population is indifferent to phenomenon such as this or don't let it affect their viewpoint / daily life. They might identify with a particular religion, but for all practical purposes, don't strive to learn anything about that, let alone others. They are religious in name only or for business / other personal reasons. Then there are those who may or may not label themselves as atheist, and deny all existence of anything beyond the consumer material world / "prevailing scientific viewpoint" we live in.
People like this will influence how you view these videos. The voices in the "back of your head" (Quantum Entanglement). Yet, the evidence is right before us - unless ALL these videos and presenters / speakers are fradulent. Some very well may be, but when is it beyond doubt? You are the judge of that.
Many (notable) skeptics and/or religious individuals are afraid of being wrong. They are afraid of uncertainty. They fear the unknown. Fear makes people lie. There is nothing per se "wrong" with this, it just a human tendency that is helpful to recognize when interpreting events. We've all done it. This is also why "science" has rushed to judgment on many subjects, because uncertainty just makes many uncomfortable. Or they lied to maintain their job, reputation, etc... Or they succumbed to peer pressure to "shape" their views a certain way. Or they are afraid of their life's work / viewpoint being blown up. They are afraid of what it means to their behavior. They are afraid of not being able to explain something. You might enjoy this book - Wisdom of Insecurity
If you encounter these people, personally, I don't bother trying to change their opinion or convince them of anything. Once I know what they are like, I just shutup. They are so convinced that they are right(eous), just let them be. Maybe someday their sense of right(eous) ness will pass, maybe not. We've all been there before about one subject or another. Usually, one must suffer in some way before a change occurs.
Who wants to know the truth about who WE are?
Buy and read the book to learn how to get rid of all your fear.
As of mid-2016, it isn't just my vision that is improving.
Cold tolerance - For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed taking hot showers, or at least very warm water showers. Recently, even in the morning, I have started to prefer luke-cold to luke-warm water. This was by no action on my part. Cold showers are healthier for us than hot showers. It is also a sign that my body is changing. Will I someday have the ability of the individuals in the videos above...yes. When? I don't know.*
If you watch some of the videos above of Wim Hof, he goes into more detail about the method he uses and that he teaches to others. There is one issue with his method that I would like to point out. He is aging very quickly. If you look at how he looks from 2008 in the Ice Bath record and in the 2014/2015 VICE video of him training others on his method he has aged considerably. The fundamental principle behind his method is valid (obviously), but it comes with side effects in the way he is doing it. There is another way to achieve cold tolerance, while not aging quickly either.
A hint on how to achieve this is in plain sight. If you carefully observe people (or yourself) after they eat, you might find them reaching for their jacket until the heat from the food kicks in. Also, in public places or at your workplace you will notice some people needing more clothes than others to stay warm. Why is this? Studying their personalities may give you some insight.
Once the self-healing process has started and one maintains (or improves) the conditions, the body will start healing many things in our body (and mind). I don't know the full extent of what is possible, but with a spirit of adventure and a little "luck," we're going to find out!
Super Memory - Already identified in 50+ people! F-I-F-T-Y!! Genetic mutation? A gift (or curse) from "God or the Devil?" Or some other explanation? Maybe these (and other abilities profiled) are examples of people who have preserved certain capabilties before we devolved due to our reliance on technology and the way we think about ourselves? Devolution? An interesting reference point are the stories of people who could recite long poems from memory - the recording of their oral history. Where do we come from? What if we could have this kind of memory WITHOUT the eBaggage? What would that be worth? Would you toss your smartphone? Or is it really a dumbphone?
Mathematic Ability - There are stories of a couple of individuals who can calculate faster than a calculator or computer. I've noticed my own ability to calculate simple mathematics in my head differs from day to day sometimes. Certainly, I don't have any automatic lightning ability such as some of these individuals. But, could I acquire it if I rewired and repaired my mind / body OVER TIME? How much time? How could I get more time? What abilities would the body heal first?
What if we all inherently had the computational power of an advanced calculator in our "circuitry?" But because of the way we treat our mind and bodies it malfunctions. If true, we wouldn't need the majority of math classes per se.
Spatial ability / sense of direction - Maybe not considered a "power." Yet, so many people are so reliant on their GPS devices. Or some people are not as adventurous, and one reason is a fear of getting lost. I've traveled through 75+ countries and gone to places where few go. I don't use GPS nor do I own a smartphone. Just maps and a sense of direction, and I often learn an area quickly, so as to not need a map at all. All migratory animals - they don't use maps or GPS! They "just know!!" - by experience. How is that?
Some think we are better than animals just because we can kill, imprison, and dominate them... Butterflies, whales, birds, etc... could one explanation be that our estrogen / testosterone level is off? More here. Many chemicals in our food affect these levels...but wait, there's more!
What if you could have a sense of direction and less fear like the early mariners? Leif Erikson, Vasco da Gama, Christopher Columbus, Ferdinand Magellan? Or the less heralded Polynesians who traveled great distances in small boats in the Pacific Ocean. Yes, a sense of direction without some of the other "unsavory" elements of some of these early mariners!

Reduced appetite - no emotional eating / cravings - hybrid body - Is it possible to exist on sunlight alone? Watch some videos related to it, and this "wacko, crazy" idea, you may find to not be so crazy after all. How much do you know about the side effects of the food we eat and drinks we consume?
Check out www.lightdocumentary.com. Many people LOVE to eat, especially with the upsurge in food networks / tv shows, celebrity chefs, etc......it's said, LOVE is BLIND. Foodie CULTure. Obese and overweight people. What have you been blinded to? Do you know the history behind how the modern supermarket came to be? Most of the items in a supermarket that people LOVE, did not exist a short while ago. They are artificial creations. Some ingredients aren't artificial, but they are from far away lands. How much did people in the past love to eat? Or was it just sustenance?
The percentage of obese and overweight people has continued to climb all over the world, because the medical establishment fails to understand the reasons why we eat more. It's all emotional. They don't talk about this because knowledge of how emotions relate to eating is poorly understood, for many do not understand their own feelings, let alone how sound and visual stimulus relate. This is why many are on roller coaster diets, tense from using caffeine as an appetite suppressant, or using cigarettes as an appetite suppressant. The % of obese would increase if you account for smokers! The simple advice of just "eat less and exercise more," sounds great in theory, but over the long term, is no match for the power of repressed feelings. Who wants to change? Who wants to stop being a prisoner to food? A prisoner to their negative feelings.

You've read this far, you might as well learn about ability X - but you'll need to have read the book. (Coming soon)
