By Scientific American - whimsical introduction to Quantum Entanglement
By Science Channel - a bit more technical, talks about QE and general QM
It's a strange word if you aren't used to seeing it. What does the word - Quantum - have to do with finding a wild polar bear? You find this out by reading the novel. Quantum, what do you think of when you hear this word? Nothing? A James Bond movie? Quantum physics? Computer hard drives?
In the book, as Amanda goes deeper and deeper into herself and understands her feelings better she begins to wonder if we are all connected. This is explained in the context of understanding our feelings in the novel. The mechanism she determines as to how this could be possible is called - QUANTUM ENTANGLEMENT.
If you accept that we are / can be connected on a Quantum level. Could a better understanding of this improve your well being? Could it explain why you have 'random thoughts'? Could it explain why people you know or read about seem to do things that are "out of character?" What if your unhappiness despite ideal external circumstances was due to 'negative thoughts' from someone you are connected to?
Could your disatisfaction in life be due to someone you are connected to? Is there a way to find out who we are connected to beyond the people most obvious to us?
Is there a relationship between our feelings and subconscious thoughts and quantum entanglement? Our experience has given us an answer. But, you have to answer this for yourself, as it may be controversial. Quiet Freedom has insights on how to know yourself better.
Some articles / thoughts to consider:
Danish happiness in DNA? (Daily Mail - UK)
Couple dies 44 hours apart (Daily Mail - UK) - just one of many such similar stories. How does the energy of others affect our own health?
Telephone Telepathy (Red Orbit)
Telepathy (Rupert Sheldrake)
Mother's Instinct saves son buried under sand (NBC News) - parental instinct. Perhaps you have your own example to share with us?List of Multiple Discoveries (Wikipedia)
Many (often undesirable) things that are explained as 'herditary' (and thought of as - pretty much - impossible to change) are in fact simply the transferrence of energy (feelings / thoughts) between each other. When we understand our own thoughts and feelings / self better, we can get rid of our 'undesirable' energy.
If you do a search for -- illusion of distance and free particles -- you may find a video clip from the above documentary.
If you agree we are connected, QE is also the mechanism by those who wish to "change the world," can do it. Except it starts at home - the person you see in the mirror most often. One person, one soul at a time. YOU! For if you change yourself, you will change others who are connected to you as well! And those who aren't. And who knows, who you might be connected to...it could be someone very influential.
And until you clear out more of your eBaggage (emotional baggage) - when you start to realize specifically who you are connected to, how can you determine generally who you are connected to and where they might live and what they might do? Simple -- the issues and places you pay attention to the most!
If world issues don't interest you so much, what about your own personal situation? Many of us have made the mistake of trying to change others in some way and have found it to not work, cause us grief, or backfire. Perhaps you've heard that example, lead by example? That is what Amanda learns in Quiet Freedom, if she wants to improve her personal interactions, all she has to do is change herself and stop worrying about other people. For as she changes herself, she indirectly changes those around her.

Evil Store - You consciously avoid a store that you may have shopped at before - and you don't consciously know why. Or you have reservations about shopping there that you didn't have before. [You absorbed negative feelings in regards to a store from someone]
Conflicting Energy - You are at the supermarket and you end up staring at a particular food item. You have conflicted feelings about what to eat. Same would also apply at a restaurant.
Random Knowledge - You watch a game show and you know the answer to a particular question. Upon reflection you realize, you have no idea how you knew the answer. Also works when playing a trivia game with friends
